Oct.5, 2009 Well we last ran the sprinter 9/12 @ Putnamville and ran 3rd in the heat, 14th in the main. Next our plan was to run the midget @ Macon Aug.26 and it rained out again. We were planning on running the midget Oct.7-10 @ Granite City, Il. but Linda's work scheduled changed and now she's out on the west coast. Looks like our seasons done. 10 times this season we were rained out on nights we planned to run the midget, 4 times with the sprinter other possible nights Linda was out of town. Only 5 runs this year (3 sprint, 2 midget) but 3 main events runs out of the 5 nights. All of the nights there were 30+ cars except one Putnamville night with only 20. Anyway plans this winter are to build our new Spike midget with our soon to be re-built Esslinger under the hood. The Stealth will get a little touch up and our Fontana will be bolted in. The sprint will get some new body work & paint plus a few modifications & updates for 2010. |
