Feb. 7, 2008

Most of you know we ran the 2008 Chili Bowl and we had a blast. It was alot of hard work, but if things go well we'll proably try it again next year. You can click here to check out our Chili Bowl Team Results. Right now we're working on our 2008 race schedule. As of now it looks to be a mixture of 6-10 PowrI & USAC midget shows, with hopefully 10 sprint car runs during the year. Jason Holt will behind the wheel of the CanDo and yours truely will be in the Stealth. I'll have more later as it's a work in progress.

Here's a shot taken
right before we
loaded the cars up
for Tulsa. Justin
took this shot of
Jason, Kelly, Linda,
and I next to the
LOK Enterprises
Chili Bowl cars. To

for Chili Bowl shots.

Before I change direction from the Chili Bowl, Linda & I want to give a big thanks to Bobby D. and Darrell Johnson who came out from California to give us a hand at Tulsa. Without your help the Chili Bowl wouldn't have gone as smooth (even with the few problems we had), and had been as much fun. Mark your calenders for next year guys!

Part of my plan this season is to get out to California for a visit, proably during the summer months before August. During August is the Indiana Midget week with USAC. I've had a few talks with California based midget teams that may come out for that and use our shop for a home base that week. I'll have more when plans firm up.

My buddy Ray Green just sent me out the DVD collector's set of Dale. The Dale Earnhardt bio...I can't wait to get the time to check out the whole(6 DVD's)deal.

Jason & Kelly will be saying
their "I do's" on Feb. 29,
2008...yep it's leap year
day. Jason said that way
they only have to celebrate
every 4 years.I don't think
it'll work that way. We wish
them the best of luck as they
get ready for their big day.

I'll try to keep things more
updated than every 6 months.
Linda & I both feel at home
here in the Indy area and hope some of you will get a chance to visit us in the future.

I'll have more in a few weeks...take care, DOK
